This would be my number 1 recommended activity for anyone visiting Nova Scotia - walking on the ocean floor at low tide, in the red clay and seeing the spectacular flowerpot island was like nothing I've ever experienced before. A beautiful and unique experience for sure!

Our guide for the hour-long ocean floor tour was Anita from Burntcoat Head Park and she was fantastic! Low tide here at the Bay of Fundy was a bucket-list experience for me. We came back 6 hours later to see it at high tide. In between we went to see the tidal bore at the interpretive center on the Shubenacadie River in South Maitland - WOW that was spectacular too! A must-see experience and a gorgeous day too!
